
Having worked in the animation industry for over 20 years now, Mark Sheard is at the top of his game. He began work as an inbetweener at the age of 17 on the Aussie classic cartoon series Lil’ Elvis Jones and the Truckstoppers. Then continued to work his way up through the industry on numerous series and productions. While working as a toy designer he created over 300 individual characters for the original Mighty Beanz, winning International Toy of the Year in 2003. In 2008 he directed his first animated series called The Beach Crew and went on to work as the Assistant Director on Jar Dwellers S.O.S. Most recently Mark was the Animation Director on Australia’s first animated skit show Suspect Moustache. Mark continues to work as an animation director and teaches in higher education.
